Welcome to Stranraer Camera Club

Stranraer Harbour with Stena HSS Voyager & MV Stena Caledonia in port

Where and When

The club meets at 7.30 pm every Monday from September to April in the Townkirk Church Hall, London Road, Stranraer. Click on Syllabus for our full programme.

Car Parking

Townkirk Church Car Park next to church hall – has a limited number of spaces.  These are normally left for disabled members and visitors or committee members who are required to bring equipment to meetings

Morrison’s Car Park at the other side of London Road offers a large number of spaces that members and visitors can use.

Beginners Welcome

There are some superbly created images in the galleries but don't be put off if you are just starting in photography. Whatever standard you are at, you will find the club very encouraging and you are very welcome to submit your work for the gallery section.

You can always get help and advice from our more experienced members. We have advice evenings with specialist workshops and speakers. Our competitions are open to include all levels of ability.

It’s a sociable club with days and evenings out as well as trips to photographic locations/exhibitions and visits (not compulsory) along the road to the pub after each meeting!

If you want to improve your photography and get the most out of your camera, come along and join Stranraer Camera Club.
